Any ideas on how I can prolong my doorbell battery life which become exhausted 2 weeks after being charged? I’ve tried many advices but the issues are still ongoing.

What doorbell do you have? If it is one that has a removable battery, I would suggest buying a second battery to have on hand to switch out while the other one charges. I did that for mine and it really cut down on device downtime
I struggled with this for a while until I tinkered with the settings.
First, set a perimeter for detection. You don’t need to know every time your neighbors dog goes out to poop, only when someone is close to your door.
Second, see detection to human and packages. That way every car and squirrel and leaf won’t set it off.
Third, Home and Away settings are useful to significantly improve battery life if you’re in a position to hear your doorbell ring, there’s no reason it needs to detect unless it rings.
is It possible to reset the number of motion events detected each time the video door bell battery is charged? I have a 2K video door bell.
I came up with an idea, i connect cable thru the wall behind 24/7, so no more battery issue
