Eufy had a survey today about the pricing of the new wired outdoor cam.
Is there a rough estimated launch date for this? Will we see it before the year end or is this something that will take months longer to develop? Just wondering if I should hold off purchases of other cameras for this or not. I don’t want to buy a couple of expensive outdoor cams only to see this launch in the next few months.

Not that I’ve heard…I’m waiting too. I did order the new Wyze v3 wired outdoor camera, supposed to be delivered by the end of November.
How about an update Eufy? Do you have an anticipated role out date?
This might open up for better performance and a better design for the outdoor cameras looking forward to it.
The outdoor cam appears to look identical to the eufycam (2).
Will it work with the home base 2?
They’ve likely missed the xmas sales window, I would guess February at this rate.
Its also possible the Wyze V3 has affected eufy’s pricing strategy.
Wyze is only asking $20 but requires a $1.25 month subscription for person detection.
Still no updates? Not even a general “coming 2021”?
With the release of the new Wyze V3 with starlite sensor for great color night vision, Eufy better step up it’s game soon.
Looks like the Eufy Security ios App was just updated this morning.
The following were in the release notes:
- Support for new Outdoor Cam
- Support for Professional Monitoring Service.
So news about both these items might be coming soon!
