Any word on when those range extenders for the Homebase will be released? Just ordered two more cams, another S220 and an E30, but all my current cams are taking turns going offline again (since the app update?)
Range extenders?? I haven’t heard about them. Can you send me a link I’m very interested myself
I haven’t seen any confirmed release date for HomeBase range extenders yet. The Multi-Bridge option can help some plug-in cams connect via your home Wi-Fi, but it doesn’t work for battery-powered models like yours, so it obviously wouldn’t help in your case.
Unfortunately don’t have a link, found some posts from an official Eufy employee commenting that they’re working on some, on this community, they were replying to customers experiencing issue like we all have been. One was from December 2024, same person commented the same thing I think February.
I just came across a video of what they’re apparently releasing on Reddit other day, bet it won’t be cheap lol but could use it asap!
Same thing happens with the wired E220s. I know part of my issue is probably being in an apartment complex lol, partly brick building and probably just too many cameras too close together, this issue actually started with just 4 cameras, but I thought the dog was unplugging the E220s for a while lol.
Looks as though the rabbit ear antennas would plug into an outlet the square thin box next to it no clue, perhaps it plugs into the home base as a receiver?
On the Reddit post with video (I dont recall it looking like that lol) they had the specs. And a discussion about eufy’s product being subpar compared to others already on the market lol. I’m just curious how much this is going to cost us and if it’s actually going to solve the issue of our cams randomly going offline for several hours. Mine were actually way better after the neighbor on the right of me moved out now someone moved in and here we go again lol.
Yep, that’s Wi-Fi interference. You want to make sure that your neighbors Wi-Fi isn’t using the same channel your home’s Wi-Fi is using.
I think the E10 display is overpriced
Definitely over priced… Unfortunately don’t think I can knock on my new neighbors door and ask them to change their WiFi channels lol. Maybe if the range extenders come out and are reasonably priced it’ll work out.
I have one but I don’t know how to use it, and it works with a camera like the E40.It is powered by the camera.
I’d try adding it as a repeater in the app and see if anything happens.
It may just be plug and Play.. and you don’t add the Wi-Fi device to the app.
The E-40 you have is that the one with the solar panel built on top?
The Wi-Fi module, if that plugs into an electrical outlet you probably want to put at an equal distance between the home base and the E-40 camera.
Can you tell me the part numbers for both items thanks..
Yes, I have the same question! Desperately awaiting their release, or may have to change to a different system
E40-T8114 wifi model-T8707 T8708 T8709,A set of three accessories, one for the wifi camera to connect to nvr, the remaining two are long distance communication modules. The new E40 and PoE cameras both have slots for modules
Uhh ha, so it appears that this wi-fi kit can only be used with the eufy NVR systems.
That allows you to connect some Wi-Fi cameras to the NVR.
So apparently it’s not for the HomeBase 3.
Specific Wi-Fi Module: eufy NVR systems can support eufy wireless cameras when paired with its official Wi-Fi accessory (Model: T8709). This accessory enables wireless connectivity, but not all eufy wireless cameras are supported.
That sucks, so why this official on comments telling us that they have a range extender for the HB coming out this year? Could there be another one in the works? Or did he (think his user name was George) not know what he was talking about?
Bummer I hope you’re mistaken I really wanted one too
