anyone having issues with Solocam E30 and the way it captures sound. everything is very muffled and can’t hear clearly. I remember with the audio of my old eufy cameras the audio was clear. is this something normal?

Hi, out of interest, is the zone sent from edge of right hand side? cos it seems to record instantly and have no delay. In my S340 model and the Solar Wall Light Cam 120, there is a 3-5 delay when somebody enters the zone … so it records half of the event, and trying to establish what on earth going on.
It sounds kind of echoey. Where is the camera mounted? Can you post a picture of it?
Is it mounted under some type of enclosure?
I recently received an E30 as a replacement for my S340. I noticed that the playback within the app footage of the E30 stutters every three seconds
Mine has a squeal and a squeak, never really care to listen for other sounds.

Yeah your camera has a lot of echo
That spot looks fine.
Try testing it out yourself, stand on your porch and talk directly at the camera if it sounds muffled or echoey then I would say the camera has a problem with its microphone. The microphone is located towards the left of the camera lens_small tiny hole_.
See if there’s an option in the camera settings to Restart Device.
It may correct the issue.
If it doesn’t then I would contact support through the app and do a warranty claim.
