Hi there,
I am trying to set up automation so that if either camera A or camera B detects movements, both of them start recording.
I did :
- if camera A detects, then camera B records
- if camera B detects, then camera A records
It works but instead of having 2 video clips for each detection (one per camera) i get a lot of them (all of them with (linked event). It looks like in this setting the system loops and each camera keeps triggering the other one…
Is there any other way to do do what i want to achieve ?
Thank you for reaching out.
In this case, have you tried to adjust the sensitivity level when you are getting too many videos?
Please feel free to reach out support@eufylife.com so we can have the engineering team to look into this case for you.
Remember your satisfaction is our top priority and we will be sure to resolve the issue for you.
As I said this is not a detection issue as the event are all marked as linked event.
Also, no offense @AnkerSupport, but i did believe that the whole point of your presence here was to gather issues and improvements requirements form the community and relay it to the engineering team…
If we have to report issues both here and by mail to the support, i think something is not working properly (but i did just send the e-mail :)).

Exactly. There’s loads of things that could be improved really easily by collating the info here, but on occasions I’ve found odd issues, it’s too much hassle and too slow to go through the email route so I just don’t bother. This feedback mechanism is really broken.
One thing I also noticed that is mostly related:
If camera 1 detectects motion, it triggers camera 2 before determining if it’s human or not. So camera 1 might not be recording, but camera 2 is anyway.
But I also noticed the loop. Which doesn’t make sense in that scenario.
@AnkerSupport - maybe describing the logic here could help people set it up better.
Ok si maybe it is not a loop but just that camera 1 detects something that is not human and do triggers the other one!
