Battery doorbell 2K stops detecting motion after 1 or 2 days (suspect: AI)

I have an issue with a Eufy doorbell 2K. In the beginning it detects (human only) motion fine, some false alerts but not much. Then after one or two days it completely stops detecting motion. It however does show an increasing counter of events filtered by AI under the power manager section, so my guess is that the AI “learns” filtering false alerts and because of a bug “learns” that all events are false alerts and filters them all. Furthermore, if I set it to “all motion” I get a flood of false alerts since the camera additionally seems to ignore the motion detection zone and detects motion out of the bounds. Factory reset solves it again for a while and so does setting motion detection to “all motion” but this is unacceptable, I can’t trust your products to secure my home like this, I was going to install the entire Eufy security ecosystem but am holding off until this is resolved.

Any thoughts? Any similar experiences? Any feedback from Eufy themselves?
