Is it normal for the battery to drain from 100% to 50% in a week? The device promised 6 month to recharge.

Check for a firmware update, there was an update that fixed false battery low alerts. Also battery longevity is specific to how often the camera and doorbell get used or is triggered, so if it s on a lot then expect a shorter battery life
