I have a homebase 3 connected are doorbell 2k duo wired & a SoloCam S220 at 0300 the homebase updates itself & the attached units, the blue status light activates on the SoloCam & should after updating turn off, however it stays on until I either activate & then deactivate the status light setting or it senses motion, I’ve tried a different SoloCam & the same occurs so the cameras are ok. Are there anyone else experiencing this? Obviously you’ll not know unless you’re awake between 0300 & see the light still on prior to any motion activating it. My thoughts are it’s a software issue, but for obvious reasons it’s not good to have a bright blue light indicating the location all night. If I’m the sole person with this problem then my homebase is faulty.
I’ve also an issue with the status light indicator for S220. I deactivate it but always come back on after few hours. It’s annoying… I’ve several cameras from eufy but only this has this issue. Has to be a software issue. It’s connected to the homebase 3
I’ve also said it’s a software issue however Eufy say it’s not, they sent me a different camera to try & exactly the same happens therefore I’m returning the homebase 3 to see if that has an issue, which should prove where the fault lies, I’ve sat & watched at 0300 the blue light flashing to show its updating then it stays on until either I activate & deactivate the status setting or motion will deactivate the blue light, but to show a bright blue light from 0300 all night defeats the purpose of having a discrete camera.
