Bought this over the summer to replace our Ring doorbell. Had a retired contractor install it and no matter what he and I did to trouble shoot it we cannot get it to ring the existing chime. The Ring was hard wired and rang the existing chime but no matter if he used the jumper or not we can’t get the chime to work properly. It either doesn’t work or rings non stop depending on how he tried wiring it. I plugged in the chime that came with the doorbell but we can’t hear it upstairs or in the gameroom. Honestly it’s pretty quiet it’s hard to hear unless you are in the same room. I’ve been putting it off for months but now that the weather is starting to warm up I’d like to get it to chime with the existing chime in the house so we can all actually hear it. Thanks.
