After watching this several times, it feels like they were familiar with the home. I’m just taking a wild guess here, but the way the guy just brushed aside the door screen seems like he knew it wasn’t a hard screen door. It looks like he did it too casually, implying that he was already aware of that type of screen on that door. It’s a bit odd that they weren’t phased by the security camera either. I’d be willing to bet that they are either very familiar with this home or they have cased it out previously. It’s like they knew nobody would be home around 2:30pm in the middle of the afternoon as well.

WOW that is so scary to see and you must feel so violated and helpless if you wached this live. Sorry this happened and I hope they didn’t get anything and they got caught and dragged through the streets not given a slap on the wrist. 1 criminal is bad but for 3 to plan this together

That is terrifying to see. Since you have the PoE Cam S4, make sure your Cross-Camera Tracking is set up if you have other cameras nearby; it’ll help you piece together their escape route for the police. Also, check your Detection Sensitivity and ensure Human Detection is prioritized so you get that alert the absolute second they step onto the patio. I’d also enable the Audio Alarm automation for that camera to blast a siren if anyone lingers near that door after hours. Stay safe.

Seems scripted. Is this an entry for the theft and break ins thing? Where they ask you to pretend to break into your home and submit the footage?
