Can anyone help me with I have a 220 doorbell I think , and several cameras around my house . I’ve upped the motion detection to include ALL motion , cars , dogs etc . I know this will shorten camera battery life and am ok with that .
But he constant announcements are draining my phone battery as several hundred or mare a day . How can I set it too record every movement , but only notify me of human detection ??

I believe you can change this in the notification settings where you only get notified after meeting certain parameters chosen by you.
You will receive all notifications from the cameras if you have it set to pick up all motions the only way you would be notified of human only is to only have the camera set to human only. You would only receive an alert in your phone from that device. I have several cameras around my home and property some I have to notify of any motion pets humans but have them cameras to not send notifications the only ones I have set to human is around my home. If my other cameras go off at the hidden areas a football field away from my house I don’t get notifications on them but I like to see the bear deer coyotes fox ect. They will still be saved if just not getting blown up all day and night with none important triggers.
Go to your security tab and click the setting icon for when you don’t want to receive the notifications, such as Home, Away, etc. From there, you can change what kind of actions you want your cameras or doorbell to deliver.
Then go to your notification settings under each device, and set up how you want your notifications
My issue is I just set up two of these doorbell cams one for each door and despite setting the security settings to detect all motion, set to always on, I only get notifications if someone rings the bell. It’s seriously annoying because delivery drivers don’t ring bells they just leave packages on the porch, I take a specialty medication and must provide the pharmacy with the time it was delivered, since Mr. FedEx no longer rings the bell I can’t. Also have a handicapped family member that has a hard time opening the door with their key, if the cameras did their jobs, someone would be there to get the door open before they have to ring the bell, which also seems to be a struggle for her.
I’ve been looking this up for days and all of my settings are correct, I’ve set up zones and still nothing is alerting anyone.
I’m thinking it may be something with the home base so I just ordered the Homebase 3. But this is driving me crazy, bought these cameras as a means of security to prevent porch pirates, to keep an eye on the cars (parked within range) to be able to know when my medication is actually delivered, to be able to assist my family when needing help in. And they won’t do a thing unless that bell is rung!
