Can I undelete an event that has been deleted?

cannot be undeleted

in the Eufy Security system.

Once an event is deleted — whether it’s stored locally (e.g. on an SD card or HomeBase) or in the cloud (for users with a subscription) — it is permanently erased and cannot be recovered through the app or Eufy’s systems.

:small_blue_diamond: A few key points:

  • Local storage (HomeBase or SD card): Deletion is permanent and not reversible.
  • Cloud storage (Eufy Cloud Service): Similarly, deleted clips are not retrievable.
  • No recycle bin / undelete feature currently exists in the Eufy Security app.

  • Consider downloading important clips immediately if you may need them later.
  • For extra backup, enable auto-save to your phone or a connected cloud storage (e.g. NAS or HomeKit Secure Video, if supported).
