Please help! I recently retired and lost access to my email account. As a result I was unable to reset my Eufy Security app password, and was unable to log back in to it. I created a new account and added my two Indoor Pan and Tilt 2k cameras. My issue now is that my previously recorded clips on the local storage are apparently GONE. Is there any way to recover or restore them? I did NOT delete the old account or Format the cards. There was a message that the cards were found as formatted carfs when I added the cameras to the NEW account.
The encryption keys for your clips are based on the orginal account. You should have just contacted support and had them reset your email and password. I am pretty sure your are out of luck getting the old clips back. They are likely still on the local storage for a while, but without the old keys, you can’t see or recover them. Once you unpaired the devices with the original account and repair with another account, you lose the encryption keys. You might try contacting support, but I wouldn’t expect much.
