Dear friends,
Unfortunately, on June 25 at 3:02 a.m., a group of criminals driving a dark-colored vehicle entered our neighborhood and brutally cut off and stole the catalytic converter from my car.
It’s heartbreaking to see how crime continues to get worse. People seem to have no empathy or respect for others’ property, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to feel safe.
I’m sharing this to raise awareness and ask everyone to stay vigilant, especially during the late-night hours. If anyone has security camera footage or any information that could help, I would truly appreciate it if you contacted me.

The criminals who invaded your trust and respect are obviously unaware that the converters are engraved with the VIN #.
If your new one not when installed, you can request it, it’s FREE.
just another example of the entitled group of people stealing from the honest working people. So sad. sorry this happened to you that’s a expensive repair.
That’s a terrible. It’s been happening across the country including in dealerships parking lots. It’s one of the reasons I keep both cars in my garage. I recommend extending the recording of your camera or get a wired camera (perhaps a E340) by eufy with a HomeBase 1TB. My ecosystem doesn’t miss anything unless there’s an update from the developer that causes more problems than fixes for me to complain and enter a trouble ticket.
I mean it’s a victimless crime. It’s just money.
victimless ? Just money? The car owner is a victim and a catalytic converter can cost $300 to $1200 depending on the vehicle and the person that STOLE it might get $10. This crime is so bad that the police are requiring scrap yards to take ID’s of the person who is trying to sell them.
Scrap yard didn’t ask for mine and they go for $150 older cars aren’t engraved.
