Detection range eufycam pro 2

Hi all, i purchased a eufycam pro 2 yesterday, the reason i bought it is that i want to monitor my car. There is only one thing, one thing i did’t think about when i was ordering this system, and that’s the range of the motion detection.

Now my car is parked a little over 10 meters away from the camera, that’s the closest i can park the car to my house. i read in the manual that the motion detection range is 10 meters maximum. Also i saw some reviews of other people complaining about the poor detection range with this camera, even when they have the stuff they are monitoring much closer.

I am affraid my camera won’t detect anything near my car because its more the 10 meters away, i have not installed the system yet, and i am thinking of sending it back, it’s no use for me if it won’t detect anything.

What do you think?

Is there a tree or structure somewhere in between your house and your car? I’m just thinking that you might be able to attach the wireless camera to something close enough to your car for motion detection, yet still close enough to your house to receive your wifi signal. I don’t know. I’m just thinking out loud. Would that work?

It could be but that means i have to connect it away of my house and somewhere public, someone might take it off.
