Does anyone know why my cam shifts fully to one side when triggered ?
If the motion detection sensitivity is set too high, the camera might be triggered by minor movements and shift unnecessarily.
Thanks. I’ve been changing the sensitivity down but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Do you know if the sensitivity is for visual or sound? I was wondering if it was the sound bouncing off the back wall as a car or people walk by. I have the sensitivity on 2.
To clarify, the camera does detect someone or a car going by, or even if I parked my car and walk up. After the first second or two the camera goes to one side. Stays there for a couple of seconds, then back out to the street. It misses half the action. I have it mounted head on, on the back wall of a carport facing the street.
This is really strange. The sensitivity of motion detection should be primarily for visual motion. You could try using activity zones to focus the camera on certain areas or exclude others.
Thanks again for responding.
