Does the camera swivel to where motion is detected?

Hi everyone, I just got a Eufy Indoor Cam 2K. I have been trying it out today. My question is, is there a setting to make the camera swivel to wherever motion is detected? Otherwise will the camera only see and record video in the direction I have pointed it?

I’m assuming you have a pan/tilt…. The cam can be set to “follow” or “track” an object if it moves off screen. But it does not have the ability to move to motion that is out of its current view.

Eufy does have an outdoor pan/tilt floodlight that can sense motion out of its view and turn to find it using PIR sensors in the cam housing.

Thank you for the information! How would I set the cam to follow or track an object if it moves off screen? Or is it set to do that out of the box?

Ugh… I hope someone can answer this. I have a few of these cams but they are all unplugged. Long story… Eufy NDA. Click on devices tab . Then tap on the 3 dots on your cam… then the gear icon. This will get you into the settings for the cam.

If I remember correctly… it’s pretty clear once your in the settings. Hope someone can tell you more. I’m locked out for a few weeks.

I followed your directions. In the “Motion Detection” window it shows the “Motion Tracking” option set to Off and greyed out so I am unable to move it to On.

Ugh … sorry my friend… I want to help…. I’m stuck. Can somebody please step by step by step this guy???

Problem solved. I had the camera set to respond to any motion. When I changed it to respond to humans only, I was able to select “Motion Tracking”. That makes sense. If the camera detected any motion and there were several things moving, how would it know which one to track. But it could easily track the first human it detected even if other humans entered the picture. That’s how I figure it but I could be wrong.
