Door sensors not working correctly

Fixed itself. Strangely, another phone was saying, correctly, that the door was closed.

Random behavior for me as well, but still no real time state of the sensor, it takes a very long time for the application to refresh the state of the sensor whereas on the event history it is an instant notification.
Latest news from Eufy received today:
“Yes, our engineer has noticed that this issue and they are working on this issue. Rest assured that we will try to figure it out and release a new firmware version to resolve this issue. Again, thanks for your feedback and the long waiting.”

I got 1 door sensor… now in the junk drawer. It was also misreading the door status. Must be a real pain for people that went “all in” with these sensors.

I have the same issue with all my door sensors. They all report closed in events and it does not effect security triggering, But on the main device page they will often show open until they are cycled open/closed again. Its problematic because glancing at the devices from time to time at work to ensure family isn’t leaving doors open is one of the main reasons for my use. Also the feature to alert after door left open for x time does not seem to work. I also get the “phone not connected to internet” warning at the top of the app, when clearly it is. All these issues seemed to start at the same time.

Same here, I just install everything and one of the entry sensors doesn’t work properly it says it’s closed all the time, doesn’t open and not creating an alert. Anyone knows ways to fix this?

Is there any update?
