Doorbell 2k Wired: Server Busy 404-Can't connect to server

We own 4 Wireless Eufy cams and 3 motion detectors, along with the homebase. These have worked pretty flawlessly for quite some time. The 2K Wired Doorbell on the other hand…has been a bit of a nightmare. It inexplicable became “unconnected” from the App over a month ago. Every week or so I give up a few hours of my time attempting to get it reconnected, with no luck. Without it, the rest of these products usefullness is lessened considerable.

I removed the doorbell from the app and have attempted dozens of time to add it again.

Confirmed my router is only broadcasting @ 2.4GHZ.
Turned off 2fa
Hit reset button on back of device

When adding the device it connects via bluetooth, completes voltage test successfully each time, finds my wifi. However, it ALWAYS fails to connect with a Server Busy(404) error. Without exaggeration I’ve been trying to fix this for 3 weeks not…doesn’t matter what day or time I try…always the same error.

Homebase and router are BOTH in our livingroom, not 7 feet from our front door and the doorbell.

What am I missing? Any help greatly appreciated.

I was getting this error yesterday at some point, but only temporarily

All good now. I had checked everything I thought…but Eufy support suggested I check if access control was active on my router and sure enough it was. Turning it off resolved the problem instantly. So I’ll restore AC but whitelist the mac address of my doorbell.

Hmm
