Doorbell Dual replacing Nutone Doorbell / Intercom

We just purchased the Doorbell Dual Video in hopes of using it to replace our existing Nutone doorbell / speaker, which is part of an existing Nutone intercom system in the house (build in 1996). (I think the model we’re replacing is Nutone IS-69AB.)

Can we use the existing wiring to the Nutone IS-69AB and replace that unit with the new Eufy Dual Doorbell?

Can we have the same existing chime system ring in our home with the Eufy Dual Doorbell? (…or does the Home Base 2 unit serve as the only audible chime?)

I’m bumping this to see if anyone has experience installing a Eufy battery-powered doorbell (or Dual Doorbell) in an existing space where a Nutone doorbell / speaker exists. – I don’t think this is as straightforward as installing in place of a simple mechanical doorbell, so I’m hoping for some guidance from the community.
