My wired door be seems to be constantly recording very long clips for no reason at all anywhere between 3 to 6 min videos. Most clips happen around 6am. I go through the videos and there is no evidence of any movement sometimes. It even tells me it detects “human” but clearly there’s nothing in the frame. Oddly enough I never seem to get recordings of the mailman when they drop off packages. I’m on the verge of throwing this camera in the trash and going with a different brand.
I am having this exact issue. Between 5:00 and 6:00am my camera records about five videos of about 3 to 5 minutes in length. There is no movement in the videos but I was wondering if maybe the sunrise brightening the sky is triggering it? The camera isn’t facing east so the actual sun isn’t in the video.
