Because the battery was weak after 5 years i bought a new S220 doorbell. This doorbell includes an extra wifi chime. In the first place i had trouble installing this chime bu at last it works.
My old S220 came with a homebase2 what brings me to the question if i can use both on the new S220 doorbell. Not necassarily for the storage but for the chime. In my case the new chime works but the chime of my old homebase doesn’t. I have a feeling that it isn’t possible but maybe someone can tell if thats true

May I ask how you made your chime work? I’ve tried everything, but I still can’t connect to the Chime so I can hear the doorbell better
That’s indeed not as easy as it should be imho.
The trick is that you first install the wifi chime in de eufy app. After that you can install the doorbell itself. Somewhere in the install procedure you can choose that you want to use the chime. In fact is that a homebase.. If you not install the chime first the install procedure can’t find any device which is useable as a chime. Like a homebase or a chime
Can you help with how to set up a replacement S220 video doorbell which has a homebase 2 with it. The old S220 has a chime unit which was being used as the homebase on connection.
How do I connect up and have both the homebase 2 unit and the chime unit notifying me when the doorbell rings? I disconnected everything from the app. Installed the chime unit first, then the homebase 2 and then the doorbell BUT only the homebase 2 is giving me the notification.
