All entry sensors result - upon opening - in a signal on the home base. In the app I can not find an opportunity to shut it off.
Any thoughts how to shut the signal off?
Go to the Security tab and select the Homebase. Under that find the sensor and uncheck notification. This will remove notification for both open and close, but you can still see the state under Devices and automations will still function.

In the active modus the push notification and the home base-alarm are checked off. I still get a notification (an ding-dong sound) upon opening on the home base.
Sounds like you have chirp tones turned on for the sensor. Go to the gear symbol on the top of the sensor page and set chirp tones to None or turn volume to zero.
If I turn off notifications for any of my door sensors, I don’t get any noise or phone notifications. I can still see the event, but no noise.
