How do we disable entry sensor recording open and close actions when in disarm mode?
We have removed and reinstalled them, put them on disarmed mode but they still record each open and close action.
Thanks for your information.
In the disarmed mode, you will not receive any notification, but the entry sensor will show statue in the Event.
If you don’t want this entry sensor to record, please remove this device in the APP. And re-add it if you need it to record.
Also, please feel free to reach out support@eufylife.com so we can have the engineering team to look into this case for you.
Remember your satisfaction is our top priority and we will be sure to resolve the issue for you.
Best regards,
Has this flaw in design and execution been resolved in the year + since this thread?
There must be a way to turn devices truly off - no monitoring, no logging, no recording. Some way other than basically decommissioning the entire system and reinstalling everything when you want to use it.
Its not a design flaw for a security system to log events when notifications are disabled. It’s a security feature that allows an admin or privileged user to look back at the state changes on a sensor to confirm it is working. No one gets notified if notifications are disabled and a user would have to go to the sensor to look at it’s history. I wouldn’t buy a system that didn’t provide this feature.
It should be the users configurable. I’ll never purchase a system that doesn’t allow some way to turn it off.
Off should mean Off, not ‘Offish’.
