I have been using Eufy webcams for some time. I don’t know about you guys, I am seeing more ads on my Eufy iPhone app. Like today, I noticed a “bubble” like popup when i open my app. I have been searching but there’s no way to turn those off.
This is becoming annoying. Any suggestions?
I never saw an ad?? What are they about?
Anything that Anker/eufy sells… I got this one today (Android) when I opened the app when I got a notification of motion detected at me front door. Oh who’s there, damn you 3D printer! How many times I told you not to come around here…
But seriously this needs to stop. They already have the explorer button if you wish to shop for items and also that bouncing gift box on the top every once in awhile.
Yes, they’re growing more invasive and burdensome…but they got us by the gonads.
If only google allowed a bit longer free recording saved….
How can they say they offer security solutions if you can’t access them when you need to? My doorbell rang and when I opened the app, I had a full screen ad so I couldn’t see who was there. Glad I only bought the doorbell. Time to look for another vendor for anything else.
Try to change your phone Private DNS to go via adguard domain, it filters all ads not just eufyApp.
Thanks. I didn’t realize this would work. I have pi-hole on my network. Do you happen to know the domains to block? If not, I guess I’ll start with eufylife.com, see what breaks, and back off as needed.
