Eufy battery doorbell Homebase 1 compatibility (facial recognition)

A few weeks ago a bought a battery doorbell, I connected it my existing Homebase 1 system (kick starter project).

It works but it would be nice if the doorbell would give me motion sensor notifications, also the chime doesn’t seem the work on the Homebase 1.

Perhaps the doorbell can also use the awesome facial recognition chip on the original Homebase.

Otherwise I am really happy with the product, it was really helpful during corona outbreak as it allows me to interact with visitors without speaking face to face

So sorry to let you know that the Battery doorbell does not support the facial recognition.

In order to have the facial recognition working, the first thing is the camera is supported the facial recognition, then the Homebase.
