I agree COMPLETELY. So it makes disable notifications of familiar faces irrelevant because youre getting notification of human which is still notification.
I sent a support request to Eufy about how to do this. They didn’t even send me the correct instructions about how to do it. I got that information from this thread. It still sends me notifications for myself and my husband even though I selected our faces. Hopefully Eufy will correct this soon. Like someone said, just allow us to choose a slight delay so that their system can identify the person before sending a notification. How hard can that be?
It seems after trying various ways to make this work, Eufy accept that it does not. I have received an email telling me it may work in the future but it does not work now. They now say:
“At this moment, I am unable to provide a specific date for the firmware update. We are working diligently to ensure it is released as soon as possible, but I cannot confirm whether it will be within the next couple of months.”
Jan, are you offering that for those who may have missed it from (much) earlier in the thread? Or were you meaning to comment on it, or this whole issue perhaps?
And might anyone have new info? Like most others here, I’m in the lamentable position of having a home base 380 and several compatible outdoor cameras which work wonderfuly–but I get notified constantly of my wife or me, despite having done that config for it to ignore us.
