Eufy doorbell S220 not connecting to homebase 2 help

Eufy homebase 2 was connected to my Eufy doorbell S220 ( wired) when i tried the HB 3 and transferred the Eufy doorbell to it.

now i want to go back to my HB2 and tried to connect the door bell to it but it keeps saying “unable to connect”

i have tried resetting both the HB 2 and eufy doorbell but still the same message after trying to connect to HB2

deleted HB 2 from the app and reinstalled it again,

changed the name of Home in app to a different one.

Tried my phones hotspot and connected HB 2 to it but still the same error

The HB2 and doorbell are only 1 meter apart

what’s wrong here.

when i try to add a device from the ios app i put the doorbell serial number and then press the sync button at back to doorbell till i hear a beep, the blue circle on the door bell lights up and the HB2 starts to emit sounds to try and find the eufy doorbell. i have noticed after 20 sec the blue light on circle turns off and the HB 2 keeps emitting the sounds and after 2-3 minutes it gives the same error message " unable to connect"

i have tried this with HB 3 but same error message.

i am with Virgin media and using a Super hub 2 which was able to run my system ok.

can i ping my door bell to check if its ok

how do i fix this.

Thanks
