Eufy PoE NVR S4 Bullet-PTZ Cam (Timer for lights feature not working properly)

Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased the Eufy PoE NVR S4 with 2 Bullet-PTZ Cams and 2 Turret Cams.

Currently, I have just installed the 2 Bullet-PTZ Cams. I am have issues with the Motion-Activated Illumination, Timer for Lights feature. When the camera senses motion the light comes on most of the time and when it does come on it only stays on for about 15-30 seconds even though I have it set for 3 minutes (I have also tried other timer intervals). Also when it comes on sometimes it just blinks then comes on.

So far I have tried:

  1. Resetting (just unplugged and re-plugged) the camera and the NVR.

  2. Tested the voltage at the NVR which is 47.7V without the camera plugged in.

  3. Tested the voltage, amps, and watts at the NVR while the camera is plugged in w/lights on and PTZ Cam doing a 360 degree rotation and I got about (because the values are constantly fluctuating) 47.19V / .220 amps / 10w respectively.

4)Tested the voltage, amps, and watts at the camera end while the camera is plugged in w/lights on and PTZ Cam doing a 360 degree rotation and I got about (because the values are constantly fluctuating) 45.3V / .210 amps / 9.8w respectively.

The PoE standard for this system is IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) so it should have an output voltage between 50.0 - 57.0V at the NVR, I am wondering if the lower 47.7V output at the NVR is causing my issues with the lights or maybe it is a firmware issue?

Has anyone experienced this issue? or Have any solutions to this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help on the matter.
