Eufy Security App and Macbook M2

I have just started using a Macbook M2 and installed the Eufy Security App to see if it would work. No surprises really, it works fine, well almost. The main issue I have found is that there is no way to access PLAYBACK. You can access events and they play fine.
Any ideas, views or how do I report it as a bug.

As I have not had any replies to the above, I contacted eufy (Anker), the bottom line is they have stated they do not support the app on a macbook with an M1/M2/M3 chip. Funny how the app store says it is compatible, see picture

I don’t think they know what the app does or what platforms it can run on, shame really.

Don’t have a macbook here, I also think you contacted someone at support that doesn’t know about the app function.

It clearly states M1 or later chips.

So when you open up Live View, you’re not seeing the PLAYBACK text on the screen or it just does nothing when you tap on it?

Yes you are correct there is no playback or in fact live text displayed. When you click on the live video you get the white function buttons displayed ie Hold to Speak etc and these work ok, but still no Playback text.
I have been in touch with Anker, but they seem to be confused over the latest Apple Silicon chips (M1-M3) vs the older Intel ones and thus which app I am using, I sent them another email yesterday clarifying the situation, but no answer yet.
Bar for the one issue the app works ok, all the other functions work and as you would expect it is pretty fast on the Macbook.

Try putting the app in Portrait Orientation (View menu of the menu bar on top). It works for me (M1 Macbook Pro)…
