From the time I installed my cameras and HomeBase in August of this year until today (10/12/22) I could use the eufy Security app on my iPhone to access my cameras and the recordings on my HomeBase, even though they were on my ‘guest’ Wi-Fi network and my phone was on our ‘private’ Wi-Fi network. Today my iPhone app (V4.4.4_1045) couldn’t connect to either of my cameras (eufyCam 2C Pro) or my HomeBase 2. I have all my IOT devices on our guest network to keep them isolated from our family’s phones and computers. I don’t know what changed, but now I can only access my cameras and HomeBase if I connect to the guest Wi-Fi network they are on, then when I’m finished I have to shift back to my private network where I’m normally connected. I’m not happy about this change! Does anybody have any suggestions about how to get the app to access my HomeBase on our guest network while my phone is connected to our private network?
Update 10/13/22: This is really strange. This morning my Eufy Security app on our private Wi-Fi network can now connect to our cameras and HomeBase that are on our guest Wi-Fi network. Yesterday it didn’t work, today it does, and I didn’t change anything!
