Here are some ideas for Eufy Security that would make the Security System so much better:

  1. 2 Factor Authentication for everywhere. I think you can figure out why this is under the very important category.

  2. IFTTT support. We need Eufy Products to work with other smart device brands.

  3. Automation Tab in Eufy App needs updates. First for the camera trigger it needs to be motion or human. You should be able to pick. Next we need to use one camera detecting motion to trigger the alarm of that camera and another camera. When 2 Factor Authentication is released in US my plan is to have the Eufy Alarm system so my cameras will sound an alarm when the door is opened. Not just the home base I was app my camera to sound the siren to my whole house is an alarm. I can’t do that without IFTTT and support to trigger sirens on the Eufy Automation Tab in the app.

  4. Get rid of the annoying pop-up ads. If you want to leave the “explore” page in the app I don’t really care but please stop the pop-up ads. It doesn’t feel like Security when you have ads all over the app.

  5. Thanks to @BombedCorpse for this idea! With the automation allow for user trigger events I.e trigger alarms/recording on all cameras if setup on automation.If possible allow for integration of Alexa “I’m leaving”/ “I’m home” command to verbally swap levels of security that otherwise you have to do via the app.( I know there geo fencing but I don’t have my location services switched on my phone so it renders it useless to me).Also allow Alexa announcements for the cameras detections.

  6. Thanks to @BombedCorpse for this idea as well! When your in the community tab, the back button takes you back one screen and doesn’t send you all the way back to the beginning of the app so you have to re-enter the community to look at something…Amount of times I’ve pressed the back arrow…

Eufy please listen to us! We want these features. It would make your products so much better!

There plenty of things that Eufy have said will be implemented that would be nice.

Also can I add one small thing?

When your in the community tab, the back button takes you back one screen and doesn’t send you all the way back to the beginning of the app so you have to re-enter the community to look at something…

Amount of times I’ve pressed the back arrow…

Just one more thing:

The ability to toggle the camera’s AI.

Sounds stupid I know, but sometimes I like the camera to record everything and not be pre-determined as a false event and therefore not record it.(I have it selected to all motions but I still get false events filtered by the AI)

Whether it be a spider running over the lens or not I rather have the option to decide.

I don’t think it sounds stupid! I think that we should have the ability to record everything even if Human Detection is on. So even if the event is not marked as a person it should still be recorded
