Just a quick heads-up — the Amazon listing for the Eufy Security Solo IndoorCam E220 (P24) says:
“HomeBase not Compatible”
That’s not correct. The E220 does work with HomeBase (after setting it up through the Eufy Security app).
Might be worth updating the Amazon description so people aren’t put off if they’re looking to add it to their existing system. Right now, it makes it sound like it only works standalone, which isn’t true.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this camera uploads straight to the app and not the Homebase. It also has its own storage for a memory card. I could be wrong, but I don’t think this records onto the Homebase.
I have two. You have the option for local storage (Camera) that can be viewed via the app. And you can have the footage saved directly to the Homebase. I have a Homebase 3, and all footage is stored through my Homebase.
I also have 2 of these cameras and after initial setup there is a option to connect it to a home base. This is something that was added recently with a firmware update maybe 6 months ago maybe longer. I still use the SD card though I installed a 128 GB one. I have so many other cameras (15) that I don’t want to overwhelm my (2) home base 3 my E220 are only looking at fish tanks
