@wyattgian From what Ive read the E30 has a built in WiFi Power Amplifier that can help the signal pass through walls, etc. I don’t believe the E42 comes with this feature. The E42 also has the ability to record/stream in 4K vs 2K for the E30. The higher resolution video will require more bandwidth and therefore a stronger, more stable signal.
