Wanted to share a tip with all the eufy robot vacuum users. Many competitors have options to perform a vacuum pass before it mops, Did you know your eufy can too? While my screenshot show the E28 this should work for many eufy models. It takes a few clicks but it’s a one time setup and worth the results If you have pets.
- Open the eufy app and navigate to your cleaning tank list on your vacs map page. Click ADD CLEANING TASK.
- Select the rooms you want to include in this scenario or choose ALL for a whole home clean scenario. This will add each selected room below the map so don’t forget to scroll down.
- For each room select VACUUM ONLY and you desired suction level. TIP: choose FAST for the cleaning intensity during this vacuum run. It will skip the edges for the vacuum but catch them in the mopping pass saving run time.
- KEY STEP: after selecting the vacuum only option for each room DO NOT HIT NEXT. Scroll all the way to the bottom and hit ADD TASK. This saves the settings you created and add another task directly underneath.
- Select the same rooms (or all) that you selected in task 1.
- Adjust your per room settings for each room selected, this time choose vac and mop with your desired water level. I recommend you choose deep clean for this part of the task. Scroll down and Hit next.
- Give your task a name you will recognize. You can also set a schedule directly from this screen. Hit save when done.
- DONE! Now when you select your new vac and mop task the robot will clean the room(s) you selected twice. Vacuuming them first to pick up extra hair then mopping to ensure a squeaky clean finish.
