EufyCam latest version

Hello

I own a Homebase 2 with 5 EufyCams 2C. I thought they are all the same but it seems they differ in hardware and software versions.

Can someone explain which on is the latest and most up to date device?

The first are two cams which came with the Homebase-Set.
The second one was an exchange device I received from Eufy support.
The third are two additional cameras bought from Amazon.

They all have some other software functions. For example the area for data privacy is once a polygon and for others just a rectangle and so on.

During the supply chain crisis, Eufy was forced to use different hardware in their cams. That’s why you see multiple firmware for the same model. The different versions have some small differences but are all current. Guessing that they used different developers to modify the firmware for the new chips and that’s why the slight differences. I have 4 versions of firmware for my 2C pros, but they all perform the same.

Sadly the two with 3.0.5.8 firmware have the most failures when it comes to Homekit compatibility…

The ones with 1.7.4 seems to be the stablest ones.
