eufyCam S330 does not save the videos on my HomeBase S380

Same problem

Homebase S 380
Camera S 330 x2
And aldo doorbell camera. This should be annnonced by Eufy by now…

i am in the same boat… Spoke to Eufy Support team… As per them the S330 has in built video storage capability, so the videos are stored locally till the internal storage is full, after that the videos are stored in S380. S380 has in internal storage of 16GB which is used first. The HDD is used last and the Eufy App shows the utilisation of the external HDD usually. So maybe after few months of recordings, the storage in HDD would kick in

No offense, I think support is not correct in what they have told you, unless they changed things??
Yes the camera has built-in storage but, that shouldn’t matter once you connected to the HB3 and then joined that camera to the Edge Connection. After that it will start recording to the hard drive as long as you followed the setup and specify where to record on to.

Im not impressed by customer support!
I have no bought a mechanic hdd and hope that it is my SSD that is the problem. Having cameras not recording or recording randomly isnt what i want. 1 year guarantee so…

Just bought Homebase 3 with cameras last month. Same thing happened to me, did you solve the problem finally ?

08/19/2024: I developed a problem with videos not appearing in “event” section of App. (Samsung phone).
I tried clearing memory, restarting Base and cameras with no luck. i get notifications just not able to pull them back up from events, I was able to do this in the past without any changes to the settings. While waiting on Tech. support I tried to find a place to update my phone App Software. (Suggest Eufy add a link to update App Software).
I went to App store to reload App (without deleting first), app offered update.
After running the updated App, I am able to see the events stored on S380 Homebase.

Update the application on your phone and it will register

S330 and other cameras Home Base not saving video clips. I corrected this by performing the following steps using my Android phone Eufy Security App. >Open a camera view and select … >Click on the Gear/Settings Icon >Select General >Select Storage >Select NAS CRTSP >Select Yes for NAS >Select Next RTSP > Select Have Installed >Enable RTSP >Confirm Secure Stream >Select OK username and p/w > Have Configured DONE. Give it some time to catch up and establish communication between base and camera. Hope this Helps.

This was posted a few months ago and i followed these steps last night and it seems that it has fixed the issue that we’re all having.

After Reading the comments I tried the solution recommended and updating the app and this solved the problem.
Eufy was offering to send me a remplacement if reboot didn’t work but they should start by asking to do the app update. Hope this helps

I’m having the same problem with my dad’s eufy Home base and s330 but what is weird is I have a home base 3 and I didn’t have this problem but the one thing I do remember that was different is I didn’t put an SSD into my home base right away I waited for a while like a week and then I had placed one in so maybe you need to have some recordings go first onto the home base first and then put in a ssd. Because like I said I never had this problem and I have way more cameras than he does but like I said I didn’t put the SSD right away.

Having the same issue. Is there a known solution?

Having this issue as well. I’m using the S380 with 2 S330 cameras plus a doorbell cam that has its own storage. The storage management always show 96% available on my 1 TB external HDD. It never changes.

The system was installed back in July 2023. I can browse and look at all the video clips stored dating back to July 2023 to today. There must be hundreds if not thousands of video clips.

Now if I take out the external HDD, I can only view videos for first few weeks when I installed the system in July 2023. Nothing is viewable between August 2023 to July 2024. But when I reinstall the HDD, all the clips are there.

So it looks like the HDD is being used, just not displaying the usage properly. Definitely a software glitch that Eufy should fix.

I have a home base 3 + E330 for a few days the play icon of continuous recordings 24/24 is no longer present, they no longer notify me of movements and in the recordings it always says “no video present”, the streaming instead works, I’ve been in this situation for 7 days. does anyone with the same system have these problems?

My Home Base 3 is also having the same issues for the past few days. My Home Base 2 is working with no issues.
