eufyCam S4 fixed lens blurry whiteout condensation issue

I am noticing a lot of camera owners having the same issue with blurry whiteout due to condensation inside the fixed camera lens. I am still waiting from tech support if there is anything to do to mitigate that. Here are a couple of pictures of the issue.

I am also starting to see it now with the ptz camera also.

oh no I hope this is only isolated issues with camera seals. I have seen a little moisture get into one of my E330 pro cameras from heavy wind driven rain

You know I have been installing video cameras for over 20 years and never have I had a camera right out of the box with bad seals…I have already mounted this thing 24ft above the ground and I am not going to take it down to re-engineer this fix. I am waiting on Eufy to provide a way to fix this without all the stupid troubleshooting steps like dry it out bs.

Yes same issues I faced and got some advice, took a while to sort out (weeks). I took the camera inside and tried to dry it out. Today after over 3 weeks to get clearer picture, and wondering if it will happen again! Condensation and rain worst weather for caneras!

2/25/26 Update: So got a hold of a service tech and was told that they would not send me another to test and if I wanted to buy another then they will troubleshoot again. Anker/Eufy very sad that you don’t know how powerful product reviews are. Eufy could have saved face with a known issue with their cameras but now I can’t recommend this to my customers as it would damage my business reputation also. Buyer beware!

Where can I but that bracket

Eufy makes a pole bracket…however in order to mount it on a 1 inch pole I had to clamp it smaller and I also modified the mounting holes for the camera to the bracket for a stronger fit. For the solar panel I gorilla epoxy another pole bracket to the pole mount and then drilled a hole through the pole to screw into the back of the panel. Weather in Florida is extreme so everything outdoors needs to be extra secure!

That’s ridiculous what they told you, buy another one and we’ll try to troubleshoot.

If the camera is still under warranty, then I would initiate a warranty return for a replacement through the app.

If the weather tight seals are compromised/defective, I don’t see support being able to tell you how to fix the issue.
They should just send you a replacement.

I see that there are a handful of other similar cameras that have hit the market kind of sharing the same software but just in a different shell. I think these are more of a gimmick for short term cash grab for residential customers.

Update 3/9/26 Very strange and confusing change of events regarding my issue. I got a different response from Anker sounding like from overseas conversation back and forth but they were very understanding and willingness to help with my condensation lens issue. I was at the point to just accept with the condensation and deal with it. I explained that I didn’t want to go through the crazy process of getting this camera down from its 22ft mounting pole and then have this issue happen again. Anker made some considerations and finally sent me another camera to test and if resolved then send back the defective camera.
Crazy to have gone through this amount of money and stress when this could have been settled better from Eufy support. I am now testing the second camera and so far it seems like the original camera did suffer from some kind of seal breach. I am going to get the courage to replace the defective camera and make sure this has been resolved…Updates to follow.

Well that’s good to hear, that they sent you another camera :+1:
If it’s no trouble can you post photos of the camera where you think the water had entered from.

Hello Jd164…You know now with the new camera I took real close look at where water could get into the device and I am not sure. I mean it is ip65 rating so maybe the speaker area but without opening the unit would be the only way to find out for sure.

So far whatever the issue was with the original camera, the new camera now mounted back up in the air does not have that issue and is working so far. But what a process it was from start to finish to get this camera replaced! Now lets see if it can stand the test of time!

I spoke too soon! The condensation is back now on the new camera…ugh!

It is just so weird why this is happening just to the fixed camera and not the ptz…now that I have two of these cameras, I am going to take a closer look at what the heck is going on. I am going to try putting this camera into my refrigerator to simulate a cooler temp environment and see if I can replicate the issue and put on my reverse engineering hat.
