I am notified by my S330 cameras about motion. I click the notification and see the video. However, it’s not saving the events in event history. My indoor cameras are having no issue. It just started doing this. The system is fairly new, I haven’t even filled up the memory.
Hi, I had an issue like yours about a month and a half ago.
Try restarting the device through the app see if that helps.
But the only thing that worked for me was to remove the device from the app and then add it back to the app.
Unfortunately doing that will delete any recorded videos.
I’m having the same problem. The only events showing in my history are from my indoor camera. I’m notified of events from outdoor cameras and can click on the notification to watch the clip, but it doesn’t show in the history, so once i watch it that way there is no way to go back and watch again or share it, if that were necessary. This is since the August 13th update.
i just installed an e340 floodlight camera. i have 5 other eufy indoor and outdoor cameras and they work OK for me, so was just upgrading my system. The floodlight camera is doing the same thing as you stated. I get notifications and can watch the event by clicking on the notifications. After which it is no where to be found. Nothing shows up in the event listing. Also the camera does show on the “my devices” but does not show up in the security section. I have removed it from the app and reinstalled it to no avail. I have done this with and without an SD card, Have reinstalled it using the router vs home base all to no avail. Obviously it does not feel like an upgrade to me… .All of my other cameras (5) work just fine. Was leaning towards this being a defective camera but reading these posts has me thinking it is a firmware issue. Another issue cropped up a few days before installation around the 8th to 12th or so as best i can remember and the issue is in deleting events. If you select an event(s) to delete it just gets the grey box with the circle in it and it never goes away. Have to hit the device button twice then go back to event and then they will disappear. I hope to hear back from customer service soon as i will not wait to get to close to the amazon return window. This is quite an expensive camera.
On Reddit, several users reported that they got normal event function back by removing the app and re-installing. I haven’t seen the issue, so can’t verify.
I have the same issue here with my eufyCam 2C Pro and Homebase 2.
4 notifications about movements this morning but nothing was recorded or saved in the history.
I had same issue. Just came home to no upload avaliable. Had to delete the app and reinstall. Now able to see everything again
I reset my app 2 days ago and the problem came back. Reset again, and it worked for most of the day and the just came back
Eufy needs to fix this problem.
Ok so this is what i did and it is working FOR NOW. This is on an android so do not know how it would do on an iphone. Go to settings (on the phone) go to apps. Scroll to the Eufy app, click on the eufy app, click on storage, then go to bottom of the screen and hit BOTH clear data and clear cache. now exit and restart app as you would normally. You WILL need to log back in in the Eufy app. I did this and all cameras came back and are recording in the event listing. Hope this works for more than a few days… will see.
