Hello. I just installed the FamiLock S3 Max and noticed that the camera housing is visible in the both preview and recording (see attached). My two S330 Video Smart locks don’t exhibit this behavior. Can someone else with an S3 Max please let me know if this is normal. Thank you!
The black framing I think it is the “fish eye” lens Eufy used, because product spec says 180 degree FoV.
What I wanna know is, will Eufy implement a lens distortion correction function to the video?
Hate this fisheye thing… support is knowledgeable.. told me to go to Settings > Screen Settings.. there’s no such thing but Settings > Video Settings and there’s no view mode.
That’s very annoying. it would drive me crazy hope you can find a setting fix for it
According to Eufy, yes, it is. I just bought one and complained about that shadow… they sent me another one thinking that the lock was faulty then I installed the new one it had the same thing .. that’s when support figured ohhh that’s expected lol. I don’t like it either
