Finally, I was able to get a camera for my parents house that basically keeps the driveway lit all night, and I can go throw the brightness to where it stays dim, to conserve power, but then when it detects motion, it brightens up and even with the low setting of light, it gives perfect color vision so I highly recommend this camera. It’s the best thing that I have ever invested in I can’t wait to see the AI features when I get the homebase!

At the 9-second mark, the camera lost detection lock on the subject. It only resumed tracking once the person came back into range.
While it’s great that the camera picked the subject up again, I think this highlights an area where Eufy could improve tracking performance, particularly when the subject is still within the general view but moving at certain angles or speeds.

That’s great. I think it can be an added deterrent to have a dim light switch to bright when detecting motion. Also draws attention to the cam, which may be the deciding factor for any would be thieves…

I can agree on that one, it’s been a process on adjusting and getting the settings right but they could improve in that aspect forsure because now that I’ve had for a week, I’ve noticed there’s movement when honestly there isn’t a reason to and it would be nice if it would zoom in on the subject to.
I have an outstanding issue with the Eufy Engineering section regarding the tracking of people who move under the camera. The tracking fails, and this isn’t good!
