first time for everything I guess. I have never had my packages delivered this late and that way.

Throwing your package on the lawn is not a delivery, it should have been delivered to the door. I would definitely report this. Not exceptable by any delivery company. This person is the worst I’ve seen on here. This makes it even more accessible for lawn pirates.
