For those of you having charging issues with your solo cams, this can be your solution…Since I’ve been on this site, I have heard this topic come up over and over, and even had my own issues with some of mine…
Fore those of you that have not yet solved the problem, this can be your answer… It’s an easy DIY solution and does not require house hole electrical wiring, works easily as plug and play with phone charges, eathernt cable, and USB wiring/ adapters… all which are very practical, and affordable…

Yes, but still requires an outlet somewhere in the vicinity. This is a problem when there’s no power in the area…
Ya but that’s what’s goid about using the eathernet cable… and you can get a role of it 5, 10, 15, and so on probably about 75 feet if you needed…
And it’s real cheep… I think I paid about 5 bucks for Bout the 25 feet you see in the vid… and about $2.50 for the USB/eathernet adaptors…
I got the ones on my back doors wired from in the house going out the window…
Diy’d it, and the window still closes…
Now with that being g said you can use any light socket arou d your house to run a socket adaptor with a little enginuity…
Best part about since it’s a battery camera, unlike E cams, they can cut the cables and itll still work for about another day or so before you can address the problem…
Great
Ya, it works pretty good actually…
Now with that being said you haft to keep you outdoor electrical sage from the weather elements… since installing the cable conjunction, I since had an electrician come over and fix my outlet box…
It been long over do any ways, it didn’t have a back player and the post lamp outside it controlled didn’t work ether so he got that all cleaned up and working…
Before and after…
Thanks
Ya no problem, I kind of felt the need to share that, having my own issues, and have solved them, and then hearing so many others with the same issue…
Make sure you get some black tape to to tape up the connections, to protect it from the elements…
Why not just use the nearest light bulb socket, and use a plug adapter there?
The box is already there, as stated in the opening post… But you can run a plug out of any socket around the house or what have you…
The box in this case was the closest socket…
You know I was thinking g that, I could of done it out back and I wouldn’t have had to run all the bs out of the window…
