I purchased two Eufy 2C cameras and a Homebase 2 about 6 months ago, and have liked the ability to monitor and notify when people arrive. I have these camera installed at my VRBO outdoors to monitor the front and back yard access points. The Homebase is hidden in the house, but every time I go over to clean I notice that the hiding place has been moved out from the wall slightly, so I sat down to take a look at my cameras. What I found was, the Homebase 2 does emit a sound occasionally - especially when I access the settings on one of my cameras. I have the Prompt Volume and the Alert Volumes both down as far as they will go but while I was sitting in the living room (where the base is hidden) I could still hear a voice prompt coming from the Homebase 2. This explains why people are looking for it - and this is a huge problem! I need this thing to shut-up completely. How can we do that? Does this need a firmware update in order to completely mute all sound from the base? if I can’t get this thing to be quiet I am going to need to find another security solution for this location, as this is not at all acceptable for my needs.

I don’t know if this will help or how loud it actually is sounding, but the speaker is on the bottom of the HB2.
Maybe you can muffle it, like place a thick wool sock underneath it or some thick foam.

Hi, what sound does it like? Could you please record some of the sounds and upload it here, and let me send them to our engineer.
