Just keep an eye on it, it should eventually charge the battery.
If it goes below 15%, then you may have an issue.

I sent your suggestion to my electrician and he said he will try and come and have a look this week. I will update my post if/when I get it sorted but this has been going on for a while now so it might not be a fast reply.
