Has anyone been

Has anyone been having issues with their camera just stop recording motion? When you are home or away?

Yes won’t record live events anymore

Yes. I have HomeBase 3. All of my cams sopped recording on motion 7/25/26 around 8:30 am EDT. I tried following all of the guidance of rebooting HomeBase3, logging out of app and back in. All my settings are correct. I got it working again on 7/27/26 but the motion recording was intermittent. Then this morning, 7/28/26 around 7am EDT, the cameras all stopped recording on motion. I can still see live. But recording on motion doesn’t work.

Updating this to note that after i rebooted my homebase 3 yesterday, motion detection started working on all of my cameras again… until around 7am EDT today. Last motion picked up was 6:58am EDT and next motion should have been 7:28 am EDT.

Edit: home base is set permanently to home. I never changed any of the security settings there ever.

Adding to this. It looks like it is sometime in the morning. This morning, motion stopped after 7:27am EDT. So, i repeat the process of rebooting my HomeBase 3. This time, without any prompting, HomeBase 3 just decided to reformat my entire hard drive. So, everything that was recorded on there is now lost. Not that anything was needed, but it is frustrating nonetheless where a reboot just decides that a format of the hard drive is warranted and it gives no prompts to cancel.

Do you have other cameras in your app and is it on a schedule? I’m seeing that my outdoor cameras connected to the HomeBase3 stop recording on motion when my totally separate indoor cam with its own SD card is on a schedule for recoding on motion!

So, only two cameras on my homebase 3. Neither on a schedule. Never on a schedule. However, it appears the issue is resolved. I assume when the homebase 3 decided to format my hard drive without asking, that fixed the issue. Otherwise, i have no idea what got it working again.

So rebooting the HomeBase is the trick? Seems like such a Windows OS solution

Ya. Frequent rebooting seems to fix it. The Home Base 3 formatting my hard drive got things to work properly for about four days, but I’m back on them stopping recording on motion, and back to rebooting the Home Base 3 to get it to work again.

I have three outside cameras, no inside one. And I don’t have a set schedule I never put it on one. My cameras randomly started to work Aug 1-3 and then o my a few captured the 4th and now non again. Getting frustrated

Looks like rebooting helped right away. If that’s what I have to do I guess that’s fine, just don’t know why it’s having to happen
