Just installed a few C220 cameras. They installed and I connected to my Homebase with no problem. My Homebase has large ssd installed, doorbells use it easily. Why then does each camera require a micro SD card? Tried skipping it but can’t get past setup.
Aren’t videos going to my homebase?

That’s a good question… Hopefully eufy official for someone can answer this question.
The only thought I have is.. possibly as a backup??
You have it set to record onto the home base if the Wi-Fi or the homebase Wi-Fi goes down it records onto the SD card, and once Wi-Fi is back up it pulls that info from the SD card on to the home base.
