Hello, my homebase for Eufy 2C doesn't have a blue light anymore

Hello, I’ve tried help in the chat but there seems to only be a robot who doesn’t understand my question. I’ve had the Eufy cam 2C for exactly a year now, and it always had a light-blue light in the front. Today for the first time the Homebase was offline all day when I wasn’t at home and I could just restart it an hour ago, and since then the homebase doesn’t have a light anymore at all. There’s no light. It is online again though. Plase advise.

first question, does the system appear to function properly other then the blue light not showing? question 2, have you tried unplugging the homebase waiting a couple of minutes and then plugging it back in?

Thank you for your help with this. Both times yes. It does appear to work properly. I restartet the system with the app once, and another two times unplugged it and plugged it back in. Yet there’s no light at all. It concerns me greatly beacuse I don’t know the reason behind it, and I fear that the homebase could be offline again all day once again.

if it is exactly a year eufy might replace it, it’s worth the call. if not you have 2 options. on ebay usa there is a homebase 2 used for $20.00usd, and a bunch of listings for new at around $75usd. good luck

thank you for your answers. I don’t remember where I bought it though. Is it possible that the light thingy is due to some Eufy update maybe?

If you would have used the search function, you would have seen this is a common issue. The Homebase works fine, but the blue led doesn’t function. There have been many posts here and on reddit about the same problem.

It’s an issue that has been noted here before. My Homebase usually has no blue light, sometimes it has a flickering blue light and sometimes it has a steady blue light. Its functionality is unaffected.

“If you would have used the search function”
you Seem to know that I didn’t, how so?
Not only did I use the search function, but I also googled the issue and my internet didn’t comeup with a solution, at least I didn’t see it. Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your help! Now I’m feeling a lot better
