Am a new Eufy owner so more than like me being an idiot.
I have a SoloCam S340 and motion sensor E20 connect to a Homebase S380.
I have an automation sequence setup for the camera to record if the motion sensor triggers.
It worked last night as expected the first time, motion triggered and I got a 2 minutes recording linked to the event.
However the motion sensor triggered about 5 more times in the night and no recordings at all.
I believe if the pir of the camera kicks off it supersedes the automation, but this didn’t happen.
I have checked the time settings and they all covered that period.
Is there something I am missing? Confused why it worked on e but not again through the night.
Any help much appreciated.

I am trying to set up automation but can’t locate the screen I need to be able to set it up. Can you tell me how you did it? I have the S340 cameras and Homebase Pro. I wan’t the cameras to record when the doorbell cam triggers.

Once you have all the elements linked with the Homebase unit in the app (so on your case the camera and the doorbell) then all you need to do is go to ‘smart’ at the bottom and then ‘automation’ at the top of that page.
Then add a sequence ( ‘+’ icon at the top)
Add the doorbell as a trigger and camera on & recording as the action.
Set the effective time you want that automation sequence to occur and make sure to hit save at the top right.
i have automations set up that when 1 camera detects motion it is supposed to trigger another camera to record but for some reason it doesn’t work every time and I don’t know why. I have found if I turn the automation off and back on again it will work again , but not every time again. (I think it’s got to be a communication with the home base issue) but that’s annoying
