I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue with their SoloCam S340 when using the corner mount.
I have my second SoloCam S340 mounted on the corner of my house at a height of about 7ft 7in. I’ve noticed that the camera struggles to track motion properly when I walk at a normal speed from one side of the house to the other, underneath the camera. It seems to track fine when someone is moving slowly, but once the camera reaches a certain angle, it stops tracking altogether and loses sight of the person.
I’m wondering if this is a limitation of the camera’s tracking capability or if there might be some adjustment or setting I’m overlooking. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
